Jesse, Allison, Jake and Andrew were rushing around the barn. Three horses still had to be prepped for their next race. Jake was grooming Asop, Jesse and Andrew were working on Angel, Allison was sitting on a tack box. Her phone was in her hands and her fingers were flying across the keys. STAR was in the cross ties, and he stopped his feet impatiently. He hated waiting, he wasn't a fan of stalls, of cross ties, or anything that kept him from doing whatever he wanted. He swished his tail in annoyance. He also let out a low nicker. He watched as his running mates were being cleaned and trimmed. He was just standing there, and his person was grooming another horse! So insulting. He stomped again. Jesse let out a sharp "Quit!". Then got back to work. Andrew looked at the annoyed horse and then to Allison who was still sitting and playing with her phone.
"Allison! Work on STAR!" Was all he said before turning back to Angel, who was trying very hard to eat a brush. Allison looked up at the stallion. STAR turned his head to her and gave her a look that read "Get your ass over here and do something to me!" Allison let out a sigh then went to the grooming box and grabbed a brush. Big mistake, STAR didn't want to be groomed, he wanted to eat, or run. So he decided since no one would give him what he wanted he would make Allison's life difficult. So he moved from side to side, stepped on her toes, and finally put his head as high in the air as he could get it. Allison struggled to get him to put his big head down. 
"You are not a freaking giraffe!!! Put your big head down!!" She yelled to no avail. That's when Jesse came over. He looked at STAR and Allison and let out a laugh.
"Shut up! He won't put his head down!" Allison whined as she tried again to pull down the monster's head. 
"well as long as he doesn't do this in the race later!!" He laughed.
